Rafia Merchant is a Managing Director of Capital Markets at Spearmint Energy. Rafia has over 20 years of experience in the energy and commodities finance industry, including debt capital markets (JPMorgan), energy trading and structured derivatives (JPMorgan, Macquarie, BNP Paribas), project and structured finance (ENGIE, New York Power Authority, Bank of China). Rafia holds a B.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a M.S. from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University, and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst certification.
