Pouya Motakef

Pouya Motakef is a Staff Scientist at Spearmint Energy, where he focuses on optimization of participation in electricity markets. He has worked in the energy storage industry since 2018, developing software for optimal energy dispatch and electricity market participation. Pouya holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
