Omar Longou

Omar Longou is the Director of Commercial Operations for Spearmint Energy with 7 years of experience in the field of renewable energy. He previously worked for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE), where he held multiple engineering roles throughout his tenure. Most recently, he was the Manager of Execution Technical Project Management (TPM) and was responsible for leading a team serving as the technical liaisons between the engineering department and all other cross functions for wind projects in construction/commissioning. At SGRE, he also held a role as a Pre-Sales TPM, in which he was responsible for negotiating the engineering aspects of Turbine Supply Agreements. Omar holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
