Chris Wright

Chris Wright is the Senior Vice President of Project Technology at Spearmint Energy. Chris’ background includes over 14 years of engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and operations experience in solar, wind and battery storage technologies. Prior to joining Spearmint Energy, Chris spent the last 4 years leading the Independent Engineering teams at Clean Energy Associates and E3 Consulting for lithium-ion battery storage technologies. Previous to his Independent Engineering experience, Chris spent 10 years overseeing various phases of EPC for distributed generation and utility-scale solar, wind and battery storage projects at NextEra Energy Resources, Florida Power and Light, Origis Energy and Black & McDonald. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of West Florida and M.S. in Engineering from the University of Toledo.
